Feeling an internal sense of deep dissatisfaction, she attempts to fulfill her longings by conceiving a child with the able assistance of a sperm donor (whom she locates via a classified ad in the local paper). In time, Bartek (Marcin Dorocinski) responds - a handsome donor whose occupation as a chef cleanly meshes with that of Matylda.
